Suitable for most skill levels. Basic woodworking experience is an advantage.

In this workshop we will work collaboratively to produce batches of some of the most useful workshop aids. We will make bench hooks, vee-blocks, shooting boards, straight edges and winding sticks. Each participant will take home a set for their own woodwork space.

One five hour workshop with 6 students.

Students will learn how to use hand tools, how to sharpen edge tools, and how to choose, make and tune-up hand tools. 

We also cover safe use of power tools (our workshop is equipped with high quality tools from Festool, Elu etc), and the safe operation of major static machinery (our machinery is industrial scale - and includes a Felder panel saw, Wadkin jointer, Felder bandsaw, Hammer spiral head thicknesser, Hammer tilting spindle moulder, slot and chisel mortisers, overhead routers etc).

 Our classes are suitable for all levels of skill, from absolute beginners, through to experienced woodworkers seeking to fine tune their skills or explore specialist techniques.
