Safe and inclusive classes covering all aspects of woodworking, with an emphasis on developing fine hand skills, and careful and appropriate machinery use.
Students begin with an introduction to basic practices with wood and handtools. You will begin a small table project designed to introduce you to fundamental techniques. Classes continue in “ terms” throughout the year. After completing the first project you are encouraged to undertake projects of your own with guidance and tuition for the techniques and equipment needed.
The final “term” (1/2 term) of classes begins Thursday 1 December, Friday December 2 and Saturday December 3, and ends Thursday December 15, Friday December 16, and Saturday December 17, with 4 available places per class time. Classes are $30 per hour.
Saturdays class is from 1-4.
