Router Intensive - principles and practices with routers and trimmers

The powered router is probably the most versatile power tool in a small workshop.

In this course we will get hands on with a bunch of different routers and router cutters, different methods of work, and talk router tables and router jigs and joinery. You should leave with an understanding of safe methods of work, and the confidence to incorporate powered routers into your practice.

Some woodworking experience is helpful but not essential for this course. Routers are noisy, and often spread sawdust about, so personal protective equipment is a must - bring your own or use ours. In the same vein, it is important to wear clothes that avoid the risks of snagging and entanglement, and closed in shoes. An apron is a good idea.
